EAN-14 for carton and case labels
Distributors and packagers labeling a specific carton or case use this generator seeded with that unit's own assigned GTIN-14.
Same generator, no special configuration
This experience uses the same EAN-14 capability as the primary generator, with a fixed 20mm bar height ("height": 20) applied -- a value the primary's own typed height control can set directly, not a separate workflow.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid EAN-14, distinct from the primary's example, that you can replace with your own carton's assigned GTIN-14.
Workflow
Enter your GTIN-14 after the "(01)" prefix, confirm the check digit is accepted, then export SVG for the carton label.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed bar height are applied here.
Scanning notes
Since the symbol is a GS1-128 (Code 128) barcode, keep the same quiet zone and contrast any Code 128 label needs.
Common mistakes
Omitting the "(01)" prefix, or supplying a mismatched 14th check digit, are the most common rejections.
Standard
EAN-14 carries a GTIN-14 in GS1 Application Identifier (01), documented in the GS1 General Specifications.
