GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Composite at a fixed printed width
Since height cannot be tuned independently for this capability, labels with a fixed available width benefit from setting that width explicitly -- this generator applies a fixed width by default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Composite capability as the primary generator, with a fixed 100mm width ("width": 100) instead of bwip-js's own auto-sized default.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your linear and composite data separated by a pipe character, confirm the preview, then export SVG or PNG for the label artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed 100mm width are applied here.
Scanning notes
GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Composite requires a reader capable of decoding both a stacked linear DataBar component and a linked 2D composite component in a single scan.
Common mistakes
A missing pipe separator is the most common rejection; this is unaffected by the width preset itself.
Standard
GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked Composite is defined in the GS1 General Specifications' Composite Symbology rules.
Related
For the linear component alone with no composite data, use the separate GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked generator.
