GS1 DataBar Limited flagged for a paired composite component
Small items that also carry a 2D composite component above their linear GS1 DataBar Limited symbol need the linear symbol's own linkage flag pattern set -- this generator turns that on by default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same GS1 DataBar Limited capability as the primary generator, with the linkage flag pattern turned on ("linkage": true) instead of bwip-js's own default of off.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your AI (01) GTIN value, confirm the preview, then export SVG or PNG for the label artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the linkage flag are applied here.
Scanning notes
The linkage flag pattern only marks that a composite component is meant to accompany this symbol -- it does not itself draw or validate one. Any actual composite component must be produced and placed separately.
Common mistakes
A missing "(01)" prefix, a start digit other than 0 or 1, a wrong overall length, or a wrong supplied check digit are each rejected, independent of the linkage preset.
Standard
GS1 DataBar Limited is a GS1-specified symbology within the GS1 DataBar family.
