GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional Composite for warehouse shelf labels
Retail and healthcare shelf labels benefit from a fixed, taller bar height on the linear component -- this generator applies one by default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same capability as the primary generator, with a fixed 20mm bar height ("height": 20) for the linear component instead of bwip-js's own auto-computed default.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your linear and composite payloads separated by a pipe, confirm the preview, then export SVG or PNG for the label artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed 20mm bar height are applied here.
Scanning notes
A composite-aware GS1 reader is required to decode both the linear and 2D composite portions of this symbol.
Common mistakes
A missing pipe separator or an unparenthesized companion Application Identifier are the most common rejections; neither is affected by the height preset itself.
Standard
GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional Composite is defined in the GS1 General Specifications.
