GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional for narrow shelf-label stock
Retail label stock too narrow for the default single-row omnidirectional layout uses this generator with the 2-row stacked layout applied.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional capability as the primary generator, with the 2-row stacked layout applied ("format": "stacked") instead of the primary's single-row omnidirectional default.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your GTIN, confirm the preview, then export SVG for the shelf-label artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed stacked layout are applied here.
Scanning notes
GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional (in any layout) requires a GS1 DataBar-capable scanner -- standard retail POS scanners have supported it since GS1's 2010 Sunrise date.
Common mistakes
A missing "(01)" marker or an incorrect check digit are the most common rejections.
Standard
GS1 DataBar Omnidirectional is a GS1-standardized symbology.
