GS1 DataBar Truncated with a linkage flag for a composite component
Some GS1 packaging pairs a linear DataBar symbol with a 2D composite component printed directly above it -- this generator adds the linkage-flag pattern that signals a composite component is present by default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same GS1 DataBar Truncated capability as the primary generator, with a linkage-flag pattern added ("linkage": true) instead of the primary's unflagged default.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your (01)-prefixed GTIN value, confirm the preview, then export SVG or PNG for the label artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the linkage flag are applied here.
Scanning notes
The linkage flag is purely a printed marker -- it does not itself draw or validate any composite component; a real paired composite symbol must still be produced and positioned separately.
Common mistakes
A missing or wrong "(01)" application identifier, or a wrong total length, is the most common rejection; this is unaffected by the linkage-flag preset itself.
Standard
GS1 DataBar Truncated is a GS1-defined member of the GS1 DataBar family of symbologies.
