MSI for legacy library/asset-tag installations
Library systems and asset-tracking installations that expect a doubled Modulo 10 check digit use this generator seeded with that convention already applied.
Same generator, no special configuration
This experience uses the same MSI capability as the primary generator, with a doubled Modulo 10 check digit applied ("checktype": "mod1010") -- a value the primary's own typed checktype control can set directly, not a separate workflow.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified numeric example, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your numeric identifier, confirm the doubled check digit is appended, then export SVG for the tag/label.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond includecheck/checktype are applied here.
Scanning notes
MSI has no standardized quiet zone requirement of its own beyond bwip-js's default margins; keep clear white space on both sides as with any linear symbol.
Common mistakes
Assuming MSI always carries a check digit is the most common mistake -- by default it does not; this job-specific configuration is what turns one on.
Standard
MSI (Modified Plessey) is documented in the bwip-js/BWIPP symbology reference.

For a plain, unchecked numeric symbol instead, use the MSI primary generator.
