SSCC-18 for pallet and logistics-unit labels
Pallet labels use SSCC-18 as the single serialized identifier that shipment-tracking systems key off across supply-chain partners.
Preconfigured for pallet labels
This experience sets the bwip-js height option to 20mm ("height": 20) instead of the primary's own auto-computed default. It is an editable rendering preset, not a universal pallet-label specification.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid SSCC you can replace with your own serialized shipping container code.
Workflow
Enter your 17 or 18-digit SSCC after the literal "(00)" prefix, confirm the check digit, then export SVG for pallet-label printing.
Job-specific settings
Keep includetext enabled so dock staff can read the SSCC by eye alongside the scan.
Common mistakes
Reusing an SSCC across multiple logistics units breaks the one-to-one tracking that shipment systems rely on.
Standard
SSCC structure and check-digit rules follow the GS1 General Specifications; bwip-js renders the assembled result as a GS1-128 (Code 128 plus a leading FNC1) symbol.
