Miscellaneous symbols at a fixed printed width
Test/reference patterns printed alongside other label artwork often need a specific, fixed printed width to match surrounding elements -- this generator applies a fixed width by default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same miscellaneous-symbols capability as the primary generator, with a fixed 40mm width ("width": 40) instead of bwip-js's own auto-sized default.
Example data
The generator is seeded with a different one of the same 7 real accepted values than the primary's own example.
Workflow
Choose one of the 7 real symbol names, confirm the preview, then export SVG or PNG.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed 40mm width are applied here.
Scanning notes
The 5 FIM patterns require USPS automated mail-sorting equipment specifically -- a general-purpose barcode reader is not the intended reading device for these.
Common mistakes
There is no free-text entry to make a mistake in -- the selector only ever offers one of the 7 real accepted values.
Standard
The 5 FIM patterns are a USPS mail-marking convention; "zebra"/"check" are bwip-js/BWIPP-specific reference test patterns, not standards-body-defined symbologies.
