USPS Intelligent Mail for compact envelope placement
This candidate demonstrates editing the encoder's height option for a mail-merge template. It does not replace USPS dimensional and placement requirements.
Preconfigured for compact envelope placement
This experience renders at a fixed 3.2mm bar height ("height": 3.2) instead of the encoder default. The number is a demonstrative preset, not a USPS compliance recommendation; verify the final printed barcode against the USPS specification.
Example data
The generator is seeded with "1123456709498765432101234567891", a 31-digit value distinct from the primary's "0123456709498765432101234567891" only in its leading digit; replace it with your own tracking/routing code.
Workflow
Enter your 20, 25, 29, or 31-digit tracking/routing code, confirm the compact preview fits your envelope's available space, then export SVG for your mail-merge template.
Job-specific settings
bwip-js applies no compliance floor or ceiling to the onecode height option. Encoder acceptance therefore does not prove the printed result meets USPS dimensions; validate the final mailpiece separately.
Common mistakes
Supplying a digit count other than 20, 25, 29, or 31, or including a non-digit character, is the most common input error -- the encoder rejects both explicitly.
Standard
USPS Intelligent Mail barcode structure and usage are defined in USPS PostalPro technical specifications.

FAQ
Why 3.2mm specifically, instead of some other small height?
It is only a demonstrative encoder preset, not a USPS-prescribed value. Change it as needed and verify the final printed barcode against the USPS dimensional specification.
