POSTNET for large-format mail pieces

Mail-merge and print shops producing oversized envelopes or mail pieces use this generator when a taller bar height is more legible on larger stock.

Same generator, no special configuration

This experience uses the same POSTNET capability as the primary generator, with a fixed 15mm bar height ("height": 15) applied -- a value the primary's own typed height control can set directly, not a separate workflow.

Example data

The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid delivery-point code, distinct from the primary's example, that you can replace with your own.

Workflow

Enter your ZIP/ZIP+4/delivery-point digits, confirm the computed check digit, then export SVG for the mail piece.

Job-specific settings

No job-specific options beyond the fixed bar height are applied here.

Scanning notes

Keep clear white space above and below the bar pattern; POSTNET's short bars carry meaningful data and must remain distinguishable from the tall bars.

Common mistakes

Supplying the wrong digit count for the default (non-check-digit) mode is the most common rejection.

Standard

POSTNET is a USPS mail-automation barcode.
