KIX sized for large-format parcel labels
Parcel and large-format mail-sorting labels, printed at a different physical scale than a standard letter envelope, use this generator with a fixed 20mm bar height instead of bwip-js's own compact auto-computed default.
Same generator, one preset applied
This experience uses the same KIX capability as the primary generator, with the bar height fixed at 20mm ("height": 20) instead of leaving it at bwip-js's own auto-computed default (about 4.4mm).
Example data
The generator is seeded with a bwip-js-verified valid value, distinct from the primary's example.
Workflow
Enter your address code, confirm the preview, then export SVG for the mail-piece artwork.
Job-specific settings
No job-specific options beyond the fixed 20mm bar height are applied here.
Scanning notes
KIX requires a reader capable of decoding 4-state (bar-height) postal symbology, the same reader class AusPost's and Royal Mail's own 4-state barcodes use.
Common mistakes
A character outside KIX's own 36-character alphabet is the most common rejection.
Standard
KIX is PostNL's own postal-automation barcode standard for the Netherlands.
